Who doesn't like something personalized!

Angie loves making stamped bracelets. She stamps all sorts of sayings on them and also gets a lot of requests for personalized bracelets. Some are birthday gifts, some are anniversary gifts and some just because.

Ok,  she does a lot of motivational and naughty bracelets. These are so popular right now and a lot of people are making them. To be truthful when I first saw some of them I was kind of taken a back. But at our craft shows they were such a hit and such conversation pieces. People would come into our booth, start looking at the bracelets and either giggle and smile or find someone they knew to share what was on the bracelet. We have sold quite a few of these little gems.

Below are a few of her naughty ones.

I am pretty sure her favorites to make are the special requests.
She just completed one for a guy to give his wife for their anniversary.
Another gentleman requested a saying of a bracelet for his wife's birthday.
We forgot to get pictures of those two.
But here are a few inspirational ones.
As you can see the one in the upper left hand side
is actually a necklace and it will just tug at your heartstrings. Such a touching tribute to someone that is no longer here.

She also makes some with patterns on them. The possibilities are quite endless.

Here are some of my favs!

I love this one. You can use your own handwriting. Now that is a cool idea.

I like the use of cord for a neat twist on the stamped bracelet.

The leather on these bracelets and how the stamped
part is attached make this bracelet a keeper.

I will keep adding more as I see them and like them

Soy Wax Melts

We have started making wax melt tarts to sell at our craft shows
and also on our  CraftySaturday etsy shop.

We both had quite a bit of soy wax from a previous craft we had done. We bought a bunch of old teacups and saucers and made soy candles in them. After making quite a few soy candles in the cups we still had a lot of wax left over, so Angie had suggested that we make wax tarts. Excellant idea Angie! We used up all of our wax and had to buy more. We have been doing quite well with them, not to mention we both like to use them ourselves.

It has been fun making them and experimenting with the different scents available.
These are the scents we have been using so far.

When I was a kid I made all sorts of candles so this felt natural to me. I had my own little candle making space in our basement. I would spend hours in our basement making all sorts of different candles. So making these wax melts just seemed natural to me. I love making them and sharing them.
